Username and password required for 8hands

Hi,

I am wondering why it is necessary to provide an 8hands username/password when the 8hands software is installed.

From the privacy policy:

Currently, your user name(s) and password(s) are stored locally on your computer and not on our server. In the future, we may provide you with the option to store your username(s) and password(s) on our server, to permit easier access from multiple locations and safer access from shared computers.

If all my credentials for the sites I am accessing with 8hands, are stored on my Harddisk (I would not feel comfortable using 8hands otherwise!), why then is it necessary to have an additional 8hands account? I don't see any reason why it is not possible to let people use the client without registering at 8hands?

Best Regards,

Mobile support?

Hi,

Do you guys are planning to add a mobile support to 8hands?

that's could be really cool to get 8hands notifications to my mobile...

media zone

I have downloaded 8hands and noticed some media content on my "media zone" which does not belong to me...

I assume this is some kind of a defult content?

is there a way to remove it?
