No one is harder than Brooklyn's Bunny Rabbit. Actually, that was a lie – Bunny Rabbit is the queen of the "wannabe-gangstaz", but she is also one of the best female hip-hop acts out there – cause you know, you don't need a real ak47 to write about the hood life or speak the filthiest words around – it can be good enough if your flow is superb and your beats are hardcore as hell (and they are, thanks to the production of Black Cracker, of course).

Bunny Rabbit's debut album, "Lovers and Crypts", comes to us with the help of the small indie label Voodoo Eros - the baby of Cocorosie's Bianca Casady (that should be good enough for you - anything that the girls from Cocorosie touch is golden). The album, just like any other good hip-hop release, is full of clichés like giving his listeners a surprise quiz ("what's my name?") and then force them at gun point to give answers ("say my name!").

While reading this, you must have realized that us 8hands people love to be treated with violence – so we wanted to get closer to Bunny Rabbit, by asking her a couple of questions.

Is Bunny Rabbit here to stay?

Do you think that networks like MySpace/imeem/Last.fm helped you to achieve recognition?

"They helped me make so many new friends and foes and loves and kisses and cries. This crazy online shit is so beautiful and terrifying at the same time."

Does it bother you that a lot of fans will listen to your music online instead of buying the album?

"No way! I know we ain't the only fools broke as hell. It gives me such warm feelings inside to even imagine someone listening to the songs no matter if they paid for it with money or the descendants of christ sent it in a heart shaped box."

Do you find new music online?

"Not as much as I would like to, plus I have a nasty YouTube addiction, it tends to take up a lot of my free time."

What are your recent findings?

"Videos of crop circles, videos of Jonestown Massacre, Paris Hilton interviews, Martha Stewart magic and Tammie Faye baker."

Who are the best artists ever?

"Henry Darger and Oprah Winfrey".
