Ever since the 8hands crew saw Snoop Dogg's new video "Sensual Seduction", we've been asking ourselves – who's responsible for this utter brilliance?!? The answer, ladies and gents, is melina, melina, melina (who's pictured above next to Eve).

I decided to compile a list of the top 5 melina directed videos, to school you all on a director I'm sure you'll be seeing more of in the future. She's been making videos for a short while – the earliest I found were from 2006 – but seems to already have the whole slick mainstream fabu' hip hop market cornered.

5) Shareefa feat. Ludacris "I need a Boss"

An early work, and clearly not breaking any boundaries. But the styling and editing are right on – and the song is dope. And hey, how can I deny a video that features heart shaped gold hoops with names across 'em?

4) Ludacris (ft. Pharrell Williams) – Moneymaker

Ok, the video is ok. The song is perfect driving on PCH in your vintage convertible Bentley. We'll let it slide and just enjoy Luda and Pharrell on this one. Gotta love how it has every cliché in the book though – people bathing in dollars, fake bond girls, a python, a diamond studded stop watch (ok!), and a shake your money maker text message!

3) Ali & Gipp – Go 'Head

This video starts out all cheesy and all about the booty. And then it just gets all surreal when melina take us into a magazine. It has this great cut and paste look colored in look and skewed perspective. You can really see the beginning of the melina craziness here.

2) Eve (featuring Sean Paul): Give it to you

Yo yo yo yo. Eve + Sean Paul + melina just tear it up together. The phone conversation at the beginning is just classic. I just love the color palette on this one; the styling is also, yet again, right on, and gotta dig the supa sweaty sexy dance scene. Hey does anyone else see a bit of M.I.A.'s Boyz influence in the last dance scene, or is it just me?

1) Eve – Tambourine

Yes. Melina made this video. See what we're telling ya? Second best only to "Sensual Seduction", I think this video gets my award for styling of the year. Perfect. Fluoro colors, dope beats, a sick sense of humor, hot French maids and plenty of t&a – what's not to love?
