Hi all. Today we released a new version of 8hands. We were so happy that even though our forums were down, you kept sending them loving emails and bug reports (Forums are back on btw, you can now post all your love and bugs there too). Special thanks goes out to Ron K. for his detailed bug reports. Ron, there's an 8hands t-shirt with your name on it, as soon as we produce them :)

Aside from bug reports, one of the main requests we got (which kinda surprised us, as we didn't think people would download 8hands outside the U.S. so soon) was to add support for Asian and Cyrillic languages. So, we listened and decided to go even further. Not only can you now track your Chinese blogs, Japanese blogs and Russian blogs in 8hands, you can also track your Hebrew blogs, Farsi blogs and even Greek blogs in 8hands!

Next, we now make it even easier to "convert" 8hands users appearing on your "top 8" and "latest" section to be on your "favorites" list. See a cool 8hands user you like on your top 8? Just drag her to your favorites tab; Some dude showed you some cool concert videos on your chat window and you want to stay in touch? just click on the "+" sign next to his profile image and he's a "favorite".

Finally, as you can see from the image above, we declare purple as the new green!
All online IM presence states are now purple (radical!).
